Laguna Technopark, a
development of AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp.
(ALLHC), is celebrating its 30th year of being a
propeller of growth in CALABARZON. A pioneer industrial
estate that started in 1990, Laguna Technopark has
allowed global and local firms to thrive, marking itself
as an ideal destination for the world’s leading
manufacturing investors.
Laguna Technopark has been instrumental in the economic
progress of the region, transforming parts of the cities
of Santa Rosa and Biñan from sugarcane fields to the
471-hectare growth center it is today. Anchored on the
activities of its over 270 locator-companies, the
industrial estate remains unmatched in export revenues
and employment generation among other economic zones in
the country. Laguna Technopark hosts over 100,000
employees directly employed by locator-companies in the
industrial park.
“We thank our partners for the constant support and
confidence they have placed in us since 1990. We strive
to continue enhancing our offerings to steadily increase
our portfolio and cater to the growing market of
enterprises that are interested to locate in the
country,” shares Patrick C. Avila, ALLHC Head of
Industrial Parks and Real Estate Logistics.
Mr. Shinji Kawabata, President of Denso Ten Philippines
Corporation shares, “Laguna Technopark is a reliable
business-friendly community that allows us to access
skilled Filipino talent, high-quality onsite facilities,
and nearby key infrastructures more conveniently than
any other location. Being the very first company to
operate in Laguna Technopark, we commend the management
for continuously creating great synergies with their
partners and putting value into long-term and
mutually-beneficial alliances with their clients.”
Ongoing expansion for future economic growth
Currently, ALLHC is the leading developer of dynamic
industrial communities. Inspired by the continuing
success of the Laguna Technopark, three more industrial
parks are envisioned to become future growth centers in
their respective regions.
ALLHC also owns and operates Cavite Technopark in Naic,
Laguindingan Technopark in Misamis Oriental, and
Pampanga Technopark in Mabalacat City. Similar to Laguna
Technopark, these industrial estates are highly
accessible to major facilities and infrastructures such
as national highways, seaports and airports to support
the requirements of locator-companies.
ALLHC is likewise working to grow beyond industrial land
sales by offering standard factory buildings for lease.
At present, ALLHC owns and manages a portfolio of 8
properties within 5 locations in Luzon. By year-end, the
group is expected to have over 200,000 sqm of gross
leasable area in its warehouse portfolio.
“As we have seen with Laguna Technopark, we believe our
industrial estates are co-catalysts of progress. Our aim
is to develop industrial estates in key areas in the
country that would promote regional development and
bring employment opportunities to more and more
Filipinos,” shares Rowena M. Tomeldan, ALLHC President
and CEO.
Other developments of AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp.
include Tutuban Center in Manila and South Park Center
in Muntinlupa.
